I am totally committed to ethical conservation photography. The animals photographed are all wild and in their natural habitats except a few chosen for comparison. Unlike other so called conservation photographers, I do not bait, harass, trap or distract the subjects. I do not use a tripod or other staging that disrupts the natural habits of the subject. All my photographs are simply the result of both the subject and myself being momentarily, though not accidentally, in the same vicinity. Though this technique is more difficult and requires more specialized equipment the results represent a truer image of the nature of the subject. I seek this natural subject and not an anthropomorphic "cutesy" image.
