Fernando Gonzalez was born in Tepic Nayarit, Mexico. Art and music were part of his upbringing in the colorful environment of northern Mexico. At a very early age he took to the guitar and the traditional music of the area. The influence of the music of the Revolution still reverberates in his music and songs.
Cartooning has always been his first love and nemesis. As a school boy, his caricatures were the consternation of his teachers often resulting in his suspension from classes. He enhanced his technique with training at the college level which opened up new paths in painting, multimedia and photography.
