Eric Deeter "Introspective"
The loss of Eric Deeter was a tremendous blow to the Alaskan community. And, his community did encompass all of Alaska, from the Arctic village of Noorvik, St. Lawrence Island, Anchorage, and Girdwood to the farms and fields of Palmer.
This Friday, October 16th from 6-8pm and Saturday from 10am -3pm, Madd Matters Gallery in Palmer will have one last showing of his original works and studies, many never seen in public. I call this an "Introspective" because it gives us a glimpse into the emotion of the artist as he progressed in confidence in his pallete and maturity in his composition through the 60 pieces.
