Murder at the Loussac Library

Heresy, he reflected, was most insidious in that its very existence was an affront to truth and still it could lead the weak to question their own faith.

“Tragedy struck at the Loussac Library this evening when Buddhist teacher Lama Nozen was murdered while conducting a meditation group.  Police are holding 37 year old Tom Goodfellow of Kotzebue.  Family members contacted in the village refer to him as a devout evangelical Christian who would never hurt anyone.  Disbelief is heard in the voices of this remote community.

Shocked witnesses still trying to grasp this bloody and heart wrenching scene, said Goodfellow simply walked up to Nozen, who was seated and in deep meditation, slit his throat, turned, and calmly said, “God’s will be done.”
